Amounts are an estimate derived from the sharp book's price and limit moves, not reported volume. Read them as a gauge of how hard a line moved; the ranking and the split per side are more reliable than the amount.

How odds drop

  1. 1Money comes into the marketA sharp bookmaker takes big stakes from professional bettors and at once lowers the price on the side the money goes to.
  2. 2The market movesWithin minutes most bookmakers follow it. The market average drops.
  3. 3One price lags behindSome bookmakers react late and pay the old, higher price for a while. MoneyFlow shows that gap within seconds.

Questions about dropping odds

What are dropping odds?

A dropping price is a lower price on an outcome before the match, most often because big money went on that side or because of new information, such as the line-up. Bookmakers then lower the price to limit their risk.

Does a drop mean the outcome will happen?

No. A drop shows where the market moved its money, not what the result will be. Any bet can lose, and a positive deviation does not guarantee a win.

How is MoneyFlow different from MoneyTracker?

MoneyFlow shows bookmakers' prices that have not caught up with the market, and how far they are above the fair price. MoneyTracker estimates how much money went into a match and on which side. The full MoneyTracker comes with MoneyFlow.

How do you know how much money went into a match?

We do not see betting slips. The amounts are a model's estimates from the sharp bookmaker's price and limit moves: the more a price moves at a given limit, the bigger the stake that moved it.

How much does MoneyFlow cost?

30 days of access, paid once or as a subscription you can switch off in your account settings. The free MoneyTracker shows two matches in full and a ranking of finished matches.
